We ran Occasio Event Rentals — a tent, table, and chair rental business. Like most service businesses, we used off-the-shelf rental software to manage bookings and inventory.
But the software had a massive blind spot: it did nothing to help us get found. No SEO. Broken Google Business Profile integration. No social tools. We were invisible online while competitors with worse services were getting all the calls.
We tried every tool on the market. None of them solved it properly for a small 1–5 person operation. So we built Operent — first for ourselves, now for every service business that's hitting the same wall.
