Occasio Event Rentals — DFW Metroplex
Occasio Event Rentals is a tent, table, chair, and event equipment rental business serving the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area from their base in the DFW Metroplex. They work with homeowners, event planners, caterers, and corporate clients to provide equipment for backyard parties, weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings.
Like most small event rental operations, Occasio relied on a patchwork of tools: spreadsheets for bookings, Word documents for contracts, a basic website that didn't show up on Google, and a notebook for equipment tracking. It worked — until the business grew past the point where one person could hold it all in their head.
Occasio is also the proof-of-concept that validated Operent. The founding team built Operent's core features specifically to solve problems they were experiencing running Occasio — then opened the platform to every service business that was hitting the same walls.
